Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before adding food or water.

3. Cleaning and maintenance

- Do not put in the dishwasher, as the high temperatures and strong detergents can damage the surface.

- Wipe with a soft cloth and allow to dry completely to avoid water stains.

It is important to properly care for a marble pet bowl to maintain its beauty and durability:

1. Hand wash: Clean the marble pet bowl by hand with warm water and a mild dish soap. Use a soft brush or sponge to remove dirt and food residue. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they could scratch the marble surface.

2. Drying: Dry the pet bowl thoroughly with a cloth to avoid water spots. Do not leave the bowl to air dry, as this can lead to unsightly stains.

3. Fruit acids: Some foods, including those containing fruit acids, can damage the polished finish. This is not harmful to your pet. We opted for a polished bowl to prevent food from directly staining the marble, but this cannot be completely ruled out. Fruit acids can damage the marble's polish and cause stains, and the bowl is manufactured without harmful additives. Ultimately, health is more important to us than appearance. If your pet eats fresh fruit or acidic foods, wash the bowl thoroughly immediately.

The bowl may lose its shine on the inside over time. We prioritized your pet's health and safety and therefore avoided using chemical additives that would make the shine last longer.
